Day 1
Arrival in Cairo
- Arrival in Cairo: Arrive at Cairo International Airport and transfer to your hotel.
- Evening at leisure: Depending on your arrival time, consider a relaxing dinner cruise on the Nile River, offering beautiful views of Cairo's skyline at night.
Day 2
Cairo – Ancient Egypt and the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM)
- Morning: Visit the Grand Egyptian Museum, which opens officially on July 3rd. The museum will house over 100,000 ancient artifacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun. It is a huge space, so take your time exploring. Don’t miss the monumental pieces like the statues of Ramses II.
- Afternoon: Head to the Pyramids of Giza (approx. 30 minutes from Cairo). You can explore the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Sphinx, and the other pyramids.
- Evening: Watch the Sound and Light Show at the Pyramids or head to a local restaurant for Egyptian cuisine, like Felfela or Abou El Sid.
Day 3
Cairo – Islamic Cairo & Coptic Cairo
- Morning: Visit the Egyptian Museum (if not already included) in Tahrir Square for more ancient treasures. Afterward, explore Islamic Cairo: Visit The Citadel, Mohamed Ali Mosque, and wander through Khan El Khalili Bazaar.
- Afternoon: Head to Coptic Cairo. Visit the Hanging Church (St. Virgin Mary Coptic Orthodox Church), Ben Ezra Synagogue, and the Coptic Museum.
- Evening: Relax in Zamalek area, enjoy coffee in a local café, or visit the Cairo Opera House for a performance.
Day 4
Cairo to Luxor (Flight or Train)
- Morning: Take a morning flight or overnight sleeper train to Luxor. The train offers a unique experience of traveling across Egypt’s Nile Valley.
- Afternoon: Arrive in Luxor. Take a relaxing walk by the Nile Corniche and visit the Luxor Temple in the late afternoon.

Luxor – Valley of the Kings & Karnak Temple
