What to pack
Light, breathable clothes that cover shoulders and knees, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Add a light layer for cool mornings and evenings in winter.
Mosques and religious sites
Cover shoulders and knees, and women should carry a light scarf. You will remove shoes at mosques.
Beaches and resorts
Beachwear is fine at resorts and on boats in the Red Sea, but cover up in towns and markets.
